About Us

We dance the traditional style of Argentinian Tango as danced in the salons of Buenos Aires. We have benefitted from expert tuition by tango masters of this particular style, namely Andrea Misse, Javier Rodriguez , Gabriel Misse, Sebastian Misse, Andrea Reyero and Leandro Palou. We were the founders of 'Tango by the Thames' in Berkshire which from small beginnings grew from strength to strength during the years we ran it. We were also regular teachers at Ludlow & Hereford tango clubs. We are now very pleased to bring traditional Argentine tango to the Isle of Man.

Your Tango Journey

Come and join our regular classes where you will start to learn the basics of tango and begin your tango journey. Dancing from the heart, tango is the communication of two bodies moving in unison to the music. The number of moves are not as important as the feeling for the dance. Your journey will start with a few simple moves, danced in an improvised manner, with the man leading and the lady following. Technique and musicality are also important ingredients to the dance and as you progress with more intricate movements we will focus more on these to make your dance more fluid and satisfying.

Andrea Misse who died on 2nd January 2012. Our dear friend and mentor who in her short life gave us so much inspiration. She will be forever missed but never forgotten. A truly wonderful person and dancer. Our thoughts go to her husband Diego and daughter Guadalupe and to all the family, relatives and dance partner Javier.
